Promotions Supervisor - Full Time

About the role

The Promotions Supervisor oversees the front-of-house team in one of our world-renowned venues.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager with basic floor duties of management, pre-event briefings with event staff in accordance with direction and information from department leadership
• Complete pre/post event reports and equipment checks; ensure all equipment is checked out/in appropriately
• Identify and report any safety concerns
• Monitor and maintain inventory and stock of all equipment and supplies
• Monitor staff and vendors interactions with guests at all events to ensure high levels of service
• Review and recommend event operational policies and procedures for the department
• Supervise special event promotions and promotions staff
• Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to staff to ensure successful event execution
• Assist with guest concerns/complaints
• Navigate through various systems
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

Requirements

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience
• Customer service experience (required)
• 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role (preferred)
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Skills

• General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms
• Ability to communicate effectively, concisely, and logically in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Ability to operate independently
• Proficiency in computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as office equipment (telephone, copier, fax machine)
• Experience using the internet and MS Office (preferred)
• Experience supervising teams of ten (10) or more (preferred)
• Experience working in a hospitality facility (preferred)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
