Promotions Assistant

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned on-site appearances (remotes), promotional activities and special projects
• Aid in all aspects of on-site appearances including vehicles and equipment (setup/breakdown)
• Manage prizes/giveaways, signage, and other promotional activities
• Interact with listeners, clients, sales staff, and on-air talent
• Distribute promotional items and conduct on-site contests
• Support promotions and sales staff with station promotional activities
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and disclosures regarding on-site contests and promotions

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older
• Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, ability to drive promotional vehicles, and proof of insurance if using own vehicle
• Flexible to work varying hours, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Able to lift and carry equipment
• Positive/upbeat attitude when interacting with customers/listeners
• Professional appearance and punctuality
• Self-starter, able to multitask, pay attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication skills
