Responsibilities
- Provides guidance to promotions staff/function in the Marketing department.
- Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
- Develops, coordinates, and executes all retail promotions, direct mail promotions, regularly scheduled entertainment acts and special events to target database customers while supporting compliance to departmental budget.
- Supports the efforts and projects of the VP of Marketing and/or Marketing Manager as requested.
- Analyzes the effectiveness and success of promotions, special events, and entertainment and VIP parties.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associates Degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of administrative or special events/promotions experience required, preferably in Marketing.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
