Qualifications
- No degree required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
- Necessary math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Handles all merchandise with care and respect.
- Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to designated areas.
- Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Reports quality/quantity variances.
- Pulls and prepares products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and product type are loaded and shipped.
- Performs picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
- Moves product from staging and storage areas into trailers.
- Maintains high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
- Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Aids in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.
- Keeps appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security.
- Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft.
- Reports any incidents of theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, Risk Management, or employee hotline.
- Adheres to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
