About the role
Gerriets is a world market leader in professional equipment for theaters and stages worldwide, also specializing in variable room acoustics for offices, megascreens, dance floors, and rail systems. We are looking for a flexible, outgoing, and team-oriented project manager for stage technology, trade fair construction, projection, room acoustics, and special solutions.
Responsibilities
- Direct contact with national and international customers and foreign subsidiaries
- Technical consulting, proposal preparation, and order processing within the project team
- On-site assignments as needed
- Work location: Headquarters in Umkirch
Requirements
- Ideally an academic degree in theater and event technology, mechanical and plant engineering, or electrical engineering, or a comparable technical education
- Well-versed in the requirements of the theater and event industry
- Familiar with technical documents and drawings; able to quickly grasp complex structures
- Structured approach using project management methods and clear communication with all project participants
- Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently
- Good written and spoken English; additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Proficient with modern communication media and team-oriented information management
- Good PC skills in standard Office programs
