Projects Engineering Manager

Essential Functions

• Ensures all work is conducted in a safe and effective manner and all applicable procedures and policies are followed.
• Takes action to correct unsafe acts, systems, and procedures.
• Abides by APM procedures/policies regarding security, inclusive of employee security agreements; use of non-disclosure agreements with outside parties; control of APM intellectual property limited to a “need to know” only basis; no unauthorized use of cell phones, cameras, computers or APM property; reporting security threats and incidents; proper control of APM property and keys.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: MS in a technical field plus 5 years of relevant experience or BS in a technical field plus 7 years of relevant experience or AAS with 8 years of relevant experience or 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Supervising employees - at least 5 years. Experience with Small and Large capital projects. Experience managing projects in excess of $1M - $5M. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and use for tasks, meetings, and other organizational tools. Very skilled in use of PC and able to learn new software quickly. Able to coordinate team efforts and keep the group informed and organized. Ability to effectively interact with a variety of departments and resolve conflicts.
