Project Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support alignment of technology initiatives with business strategy and field needs, including evaluation of emerging trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs
• Drive the adoption of construction technologies across the organization, supporting planning, scoping, and execution of initiatives
• Career Project & Program Support: Coordinate and manage technology initiatives using structured project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery
• Develop and deliver training programs, including hands-on sessions and Lunch & Learns, to maximize technology adoption and effectiveness
• Measure effectiveness of deployed technologies through data, feedback, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to ensure alignment and successful integration of technology solutions
• Analyze performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or retirement of technologies to support enterprise objectives
• Represent Walbridge at industry events and conferences, building relationships, sharing best practices, and strengthening Walbridge's reputation for construction technology leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related professional experience (construction experience preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and project management tools
• Foundational understanding of construction technologies, including BIM and digital workflows
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across corporate and project teams
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with construction technology deployment in field environments
• Familiarity with photogrammetry, wireless communication technologies, and digital construction tools
• Experience with Lean methodologies or structured problem-solving approaches (e.g., A3 Thinking, SCRUM, Choosing by Advantages)
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence adoption
• Basic understanding of database structures and/or experience using PowerBI or similar tools
