Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact and manage delivery end-to-end for water, wastewater, stormwater, and infrastructure projects based in Albuquerque, NM.
  • Support and lead technical delivery of projects, driving the technical approach, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring deliverables are high quality and “right the first time.”
  • Contribute to CDM Smith’s technical leadership by preparing and submitting technical papers, abstracts, and conference presentations.
  • Prepare and submit proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Meet with current and prospective clients to understand and support their evolving design and project needs.
  • Complete Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables.
  • Represent CDM Smith at conferences and professional symposia to enhance visibility and foster client relationships.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key decision makers in clients’ organizations.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior staff; delegate tasks effectively and support staff development within the discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional engineering (PE) license.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or managing municipal water/wastewater clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Demonstrated strength in QA/QC and technical delivery (delivering “right the first time”).

Skills & Abilities

  • Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
  • Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design.
  • Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.

Pay

Min USD $100,214.00
Max USD $175,365.00
