About the role
VIKA Maryland, LLC is a leading Survey, Civil Engineering, Planning, and Landscape Architecture firm in the DC metro area. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our Germantown or Beltsville, Maryland team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ office experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of boundary and topographic surveys, record plats, legal descriptions, and construction surveys
- Proficient in Civil-3D AutoCAD
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Motivated to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare survey documents including ALTA surveys, metes & bounds descriptions, record plats, topographical surveys, and construction cut sheets under the supervision of a professional surveyor.
