Project Surveyor

Job Summary

V3 Companies is seeking a Project Surveyor for a remote position in various locations including CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI. The ideal candidate will contribute to impactful projects that shape communities and make lasting changes across North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of construction surveys, layout calculations, ALTA, boundary, topographic, and specialized surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience performing similar work.
• A degree or courses in related area is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details.
• Communicate with clients, accommodate client work requests, and create work order instructions for field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Work independently with little instruction.
