Project Surveyor
Job Summary
V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Project Surveyor for remote positions in CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI. The ideal candidate will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine the built and natural world.
About the Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will primarily perform CAD tasks in the preparation of construction surveys, layout calculations, ALTA, boundary, topographic, and specialized surveys. You will also prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff, manage CAD generated surface models, and produce accurate contours, cross sections, and profile drawings. Additionally, you will perform project research and setup.
Responsibilities

- Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
- Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
- Perform project research and setup.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience performing similar work.
- A degree or courses in related area is a plus.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Ability to competently read civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout.
- Communicate with clients, accommodate client work requests, and create work order instructions for field staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Work independently with little instruction.
