Project Surveyor

Job Summary

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Project Surveyor for remote positions in various locations across the United States. The ideal candidate will have 3-15 years of practical experience performing similar work and a degree or courses in a related area, with professional licensure in Indiana preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software, ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings, and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of ALTA, boundary, topographic, specialized surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections, and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.

Requirements

• 3 - 15 years practical experience performing similar work.
• Degree or courses in related area is a plus.
• Professional licensure in Indiana preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Ability to competently read civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout.
• Communicate with clients, accommodate client work requests, and create work order instructions for field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Work independently with little instruction.
