Project Surveyor

Job Summary

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, seeks a Project Surveyor to contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine the built and natural world. This is a remote opportunity available in CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform CAD tasks in the preparation of construction surveys, layout calculations, ALTA, boundary, topographic, and specialized surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience performing similar work.
• A degree or courses in related area is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Ability to competently read civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout.
• Communicate with clients, accommodate client work requests, and create work order instructions for field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Work independently with little instruction.

Qualifications

• Competent in reading and interpreting civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
