Job Summary
V3 Companies is seeking a Project Surveyor for remote positions in CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI. The ideal candidate will contribute to significant projects that transform communities and make lasting impacts.
About the Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for performing CAD tasks in construction surveys, preparing layout calculations, managing CAD-generated surface models, and producing accurate drawings. You will also communicate with clients, accommodate their needs, and provide clear instructions to field staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of construction surveys, layout calculations, ALTA, boundary, topographic, and specialized surveys.
- Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
- Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections, and profile drawings.
- Perform project research and setup.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience performing similar work.
- A degree or courses in related area is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Ability to work independently with little instruction.
