Project Surveyor
About the role
Partner closely with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects of all sizes. Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency. Use your technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Review and verify survey calculations and field data, ensuring precision and compliance with project standards. Collaborate daily with engineers, contractors, and clients - you’ll be the trusted survey voice on the team. Continue developing your skills through paid training, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.
Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements
- A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center - you know how to turn data into accuracy and insight.
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
- Prior field crew experience is a plus - you understand both sides of the process.
- LSIT or PLS certification desired (multi-state licensure a plus).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in surveying, preferably in a land development context.
- Licenses/Certifications: LSIT or PLS certification desired (multi-state licensure a plus).
Skills
- AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center proficiency.
- Trimble field equipment experience.
- Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents knowledge.
- Collaborative and problem-solving skills.

Pay
Pay Range: $37-$47/hour
