Project Support Engineer I
About the role
The Project Support Engineer I provides implementation support for field service projects. This entry-level position requires fundamental knowledge of engineering/computer principles and exposure to business administrative knowledge through training and work assignments, with the objective of optimizing processes and enhancing productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and contribute to the development of digital tools and solutions, including SharePoint, CRM/FSM systems, and low-code/no-code environments such as Microsoft Power Platform.
- Support field service data management.
- Ensure departmental communications are issued and archived.
- Backup other field service project support engineers in their duties and responsibilities.
- Aid field service managers in day-to-day operations.
- Participate in departmental and inter-departmental process improvement projects, as needed.
- Overnight travel (less than 10%) by land and/or air.

Requirements
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA) in Engineering or Computer Science from four-year college or university preferably with 1 to 2 years’ experience; or equivalent of 5 years of education and experience. Must have 1 year of professional work experience for basic understanding of organizational structure, workflows and responsibility.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to troubleshoot to define and identify problems. Collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to take prompt corrective actions.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of database, project management, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, flow charts, etc. Ability to understand basic computational and logic statements, especially in support of no-code/low-code development.
