Project Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Project Supply Chain Manager will work as a member of a Project Team on site at one of our projects nationally, primarily operating in Construction environments supporting the execution of construction activities. This is a heavy travel role working on project sites throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs supply chain and logistics functions, such as material/services procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
• Collaborates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.
• Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
• Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
• Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
• Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
• Conducts analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
• Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in a management role, managing, and fostering the development of personnel assigned to them.
• 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Project Management.
• 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Supply Chain Management practices.
• General knowledge of the power delivery industry.
• Extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software, with an emphasis in Excel. Advanced Excel knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience in collaborating on Projects as a value-added member.
• Role will be located at the Project Site (Nationwide) consisting of: Onsite Work (Office, Field), Remote: Based on needs of the Project, Travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Essential project management certification required (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
