About the role
Enterprise Electrical is a fast-growing commercial electrical contractor based in Houston, TX that specializes in Design-Build projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Foreman with strong leadership and management abilities to oversee teams of electricians, ensuring efficient project execution. Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate work ahead of time to ensure organization and efficiency.
- Manage each project effectively by ensuring all materials, tools, equipment, and job information are on the jobsite.
- Treat clients with the highest degree of respect and work to develop a partnership environment.
- Investigate and troubleshoot to determine the most efficient way to install changes to existing service.
- Work as a team member by assisting others where needed and following a neat, process-oriented work style.
- Manage time and materials efficiently while ensuring top-quality electrical installations.
- Communicate effectively on any issues or areas for improvement. Must be able to read, speak, and communicate effectively in English.
- Manage and maintain all tools and materials.
- Pay close attention to detail on all projects.
- Handle every client request with professionalism.
- Estimate the general amount of time and material required to complete service tasks, considering needs and manpower requirements.
- Work from all types of ladders (step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders, and all size extension ladders) and carry/relocate up to 12’ step ladders by oneself.
- Perform work at various heights, up to 90’ from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas.
- Work in restricted areas such as switchgear rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics.
- Always wear personal protective equipment (hard hat and safety glasses).
- Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
- Lift 51 pounds, 20 times per day.
- Perform tasks requiring repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
- Constantly move feet and climb ladders (all types).
Requirements
- TDLR Journeyman or Master Electrical License (Required).
- Texas ID or Driver’s License (Required).
- Minimum of 3+ years of documented field work in the commercial industry.
- Able to manage teams of 5 to 30 people.
- Experience with projects ranging from $10,000 to $15 million.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Punctual, motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
