Project Superintendent- FASS HQ

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Project Superintendent to join our manufacturing team in High Point, North Carolina. This role supervises a team of 20 to 30 employees at our manufacturing plant, directing the production of HVAC structural frames while fostering open communication and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Monitor employee productivity and provide positive feedback, coaching, and counseling
• Monitor employee time and record keeping
• Prepare and submit production reports daily
• Comply with manufacturing build schedules
• Increase production output through lean principles
• Manage employee hours to fulfill orders under budget
• Review drawings to ensure production feasibility
• Build a high-performing team
• Effectively troubleshoot and permanently solve production issues
• Keep management and employees informed on operations status and progress toward production goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision
• Understanding of manufacturing process flow, identifying bottlenecks and constraints
• Knowledge of welding, structural steel processes, and pipe installation is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software
• Must be hands-on; will spend 90% of time on the production floor
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Trade school completion preferred
