Responsibilities Overall management of field operationsCreate and manage the master project schedule using Primavera P6Monitor, report and forecast trade production for schedule adherenceParticipate in BIM coordination and clash resolution when required to support VDC staffCoordination of and adherence to subcontracts, drawings, and specificationsControl cost within established budgets and mitigate potentially negative impactsCommunicate the quality standards to each subcontractor and lead the overall project quality management program with support staff and subcontractorsProvide oversight of quality mock-up installations and systematic quality control inspections throughout constructionLead (by example) the implementation of the company safety program, applicable laws and OSHA operating standards to ensure superior safety performanceEnforce jobsite cleanliness requirements and overall logistics plansManage and supervise in-house trade personnel when requiredPrepare daily logs and maintain project records Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferredMinimum 15 years of experience required, with one or more of the following specific experience criteria preferred:Extensive knowledge of excavation, grading and soils management practicesSkilled in the planning and management of dewatering systemsDiverse experience in deep and shallow foundations and concrete structuresBackground in field engineering, surveying and layoutExperience delivering Class A+ office spacesRecent Nashville building experience preferred, including direct interaction with related Metro and State inspectorsComputer skills are required, including but not limited to functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.This role is planned to be based in Nashville, Tennessee and is not a project-specific positionRelocation of superior candidates to Nashville will be considered if currently located outside of the local market Division: Building Job Category: Superintendent Job Type: Full_time The Walsh Group, Ltd.
