Responsibilities

  • Preparing developmentally appropriate lesson plans (including instruction during family style dining)
  • Implementing the adopted curriculum
  • Managing classroom behavior
  • Individualizing child instruction
  • Conducting screening and assessments
  • Maintaining records
  • Scheduling and completing home visits/parent teacher conferences
  • Obtaining and managing child outcome data

Minimum Qualifications

Tier 1: A Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education

Tier 2: An Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and coursework equivalent to a major in Early Childhood Education and at least two years of experience teaching infants/toddlers and/or preschool aged children; AND currently enrolled in a qualifying, degree-seeking program leading to a Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education.

  • 1-2 Years of Experience: $3,756.91/month
  • 2-4 Years of Experience: $3,961.51/month
  • 4+ Years of Experience: $4,254.66/month
  • 5+ Years of Experience: $4,571.62/month

Project Specialist Teacher II - Tier II (Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or 60 college credits with at least 6 hours in Early Childhood Education AND coursework equivalent to a major in Early Childhood Education; Experience teaching infants, toddlers, and/or pre-school aged children)

  • 1-2 Years of Experience: $3,199.41/month
