Project Specialist OEM

Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)

Employment Type: Temporary (Approx. 6 months)

About the role

Our client, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a Project Specialist to support the development, launch, and lifecycle management of OEM automotive accessory programs. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, track project milestones, manage timelines, monitor risks, and help ensure the successful launch of new products.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have at least 2 of the following:

• Automotive product development experience
• Automotive accessory development experience
• Project management experience
• Experience using Monday.com

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
• Coordinate activities across engineering, quality, supply chain, marketing, and other teams
• Track project deliverables, risks, and milestone completion
• Prepare status reports and executive-level updates
• Lead project review meetings and drive issue resolution
• Support process improvements and project management best practices
• Partner with internal stakeholders and OEM teams to ensure on-time launches

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

• Automotive industry experience
• PMP certification
• Korean language proficiency, a plus

Pay

$30-$40/hr. DOE

Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
