Project Specialist II - Yellow Brick
About the role
Under the direction of the Project Lead for all assigned projects, the Project Specialist II provides support to the Yellow Brick project team and assists with preparation and facilitation of key project activities. This role provides relevant experience and expertise to the project.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide relevant knowledge, experience, and expertise to Yellow Brick core team and clients.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specialty services/service lines and other industry standards.
- Identify project risks/concerns, recommend solutions, and work with the project team to mitigate them.
- Ensure project deliverables adhere to Yellow Brick standards and are completed within the project’s expected timeframe.
- Facilitate and manage meetings and workgroups and contribute to the development of project deliverables.
- Track project work, hours, and expenses and provide a summary of work completed for the monthly summary.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for implementation at Yellow Brick to leadership.
- Identify best practices in the industry and share them with the team.
- Develop or improve tools, processes, and methodologies for Yellow Brick projects.
- Continuously seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and client relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality with Yellow Brick and CannonDesign property, tools, methods, and company information.
- Adhere to all Yellow Brick, CannonDesign, and client policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent expertise and experience in the industry preferred.
- 3 or more years of industry experience preferred.
- Experience with large projects within the healthcare industry preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies and industry standards such as AIA, ACHE, ASHE, TJC, CDPH, HCAi, CMS, and AAMI preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of Visio and Access.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a leader, team player, and independently.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to prioritize job duties, assignments, and deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 90% of the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Willingness to work irregular hours on occasion.
PAY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $75.00 to $100.00 hourly. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Based on the position status, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
