About the Role
The Project Scheduler will report to Construction Operations Leadership and serve as a critical member of the project delivery team. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure successful execution and timely completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules from preconstruction through project completion
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to establish project sequencing and critical milestones
- Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against established baselines
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities and provide recommendations to project teams
- Produce schedule updates, look-ahead plans, executive reports, and progress analyses
- Support pursuit, preconstruction, and operations teams with schedule development and logistics planning
- Ensure scheduling best practices and standards are consistently applied across projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction scheduling experience with a general contractor or construction management firm
- Experience supporting ground-up commercial construction projects preferred
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles
- Ability to develop baseline schedules, monitor progress, and perform schedule analysis
- Experience working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
- Ability to manage multiple project schedules in a fast-paced environment
