Responsibilities
- Schedule Development: Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software, taking into account resource availability, project milestones, and deadlines.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and adherence to project timelines.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential scheduling conflicts and risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays and minimize disruptions to project progress.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedules and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress against established schedules, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project schedules, resource allocations, and any schedule changes or deviations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in scheduling and planning methodologies, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations in all scheduling and planning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
- 8+ years of proven experience in project scheduling, planning, or coordination, preferably in the power systems, gas power generation, renewable energy or large infrastructure construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (P6 preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
