About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules for manufacturing and construction projects. The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope by coordinating timelines, resources, and milestones across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
  • Define work breakdown structures (WBS) and sequence project activities
  • Establish baseline schedules and track progress against plan
  • Cook up schedule inputs across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and startup and commissioning teams
  • Monitor progress and regularly update schedules
  • Identify schedule variances, delays, and impacts to the critical path
  • Perform schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Generate look-ahead schedules to support short-term execution planning
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams to align schedules
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations and communicate risks, delays, and mitigation strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or 10+ years of experience as a Project Scheduler
  • 3–5 years of experience in project scheduling within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
  • Knowledge of construction processes and/or manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale capital projects
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project controls tools

Pay

The pay for this role is $90,000-$100,000. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
