Project Scheduler
Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation of project schedules using scheduling software.
- Track project progress and update schedules based on milestones and changes.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather and assign tasks.
- Revise and update project schedules to reflect changes in timelines or scope.
- Prepare basic reports on project schedule status, highlighting delays, issues, and changes.
- Identify and document schedule changes and assist in implementing adjustments.
- Gain an understanding of construction processes and project scheduling best practices through training.
Qualifications
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or relevant field experience.
- Three to five years’ experience managing construction schedules preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- An attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the construction industry.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with project management or scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera P6).
- Basic knowledge of construction terminology or processes.
