Project Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation of project schedules using scheduling software.
• Track project progress and update schedules based on milestones and changes.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather and assign tasks.
• Revise and update project schedules to reflect changes in timelines or scope.
• Prepare basic reports on project schedule status, highlighting delays, issues, and changes.
• Identify and document schedule changes and assist in implementing adjustments.
• Gain an understanding of construction processes and project scheduling best practices through training.

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or relevant field experience.
• Three to five years’ experience managing construction schedules preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• An attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the construction industry.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with project management or scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera P6).
• Basic knowledge of construction terminology or processes.
