About the role
Areté is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Maritime Airborne Systems Sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with program managers, technical staff, finance, and others to plan, create, and manage project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and training to planning/scheduling employees.
- Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight.
- Perform regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate resource needs.
- Ensure projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups.
- Support both large and small program needs in variable levels of scheduling involvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 3 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Experience working DoD projects in a FAR and DFAR environment.
- Active security clearance of the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Qualifications
- High level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas.
- Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization.
- Experience working cross-functionally and ability to effectively communicate to accomplish strategic vision of Program Management Excellence Organization (PMEO).
- Experience with Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis).
- Experience with Structured Solutions - SSI tools management.
Skills
- Working knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), Version 5.0, EVMS Standard (EIA 748-D), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR).
- Capability to perform Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
- Experience with subcontractor schedule integration.
