About the role

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler & Controller to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. This is an in-office position based out of either Portland, Bend or Medford, OR, depending on the location of the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Support a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwestern US.
  • Play a key role in driving creative Project Management Solutions for Leidos' utility client, providing support to the PMO group for project scheduling and controls functions.
  • Largely focus on construction scheduling, work planning, and project tracking.
  • Help with and maintain project forecasts and material tracking.
  • Interface directly with the client on a daily basis to report progress, schedule, and risks across a portfolio of electric utility projects.
  • Support project teams with material tracking.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking.

Requirements

  • Mid-Level: 4-7 years of relevant project scheduling experience
  • Senior-Level: 7-10 years of relevant project scheduling experience
  • (Pay ranges will be commensurate with candidate experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is required
  • Demonstrated experience working with scheduling software such as Primavera P6
  • Capability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasks
  • Effective in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to interact with customer representatives in an effective manner
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with electric power infrastructure projects and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services
  • Experience working with US electric utilities
  • Demonstrated success with a team approach to the consulting business
