Project Safety Manager

About the role

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Safety Manager based out of their Phoenix, Arizona office. This role provides site safety leadership and oversight for assigned projects, ensuring consistent implementation of company safety standards and programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of the project safety plan
• Track and trend project safety performance
• Verify project team adherence to company safety management processes
• Assist project teams with enforcement of safety programs
• Facilitate project safety committees
• Support project teams with applicable regulatory safety compliance
• Perform project industrial hygiene assessments
• Coordinate and communicate site safety activities
• Encourage innovative thinking to increase safety awareness

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
