Project Representative (Supply Chain/Procurement)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the identification and execution of supplier action plans for investment and development to ensure successful expansion of the supply base
  • Monitor program risks, identify potential roadblocks, and make recommendations for resolution
  • Maintain program documentation, develop reports, presentations, and other materials to provide status of supply base improvements to stakeholders at all levels
  • Track initiative performance for the successful completion of short and long term goals including SDF Return on Investment as it relates to enterprise goal of 1 + 2 by 2028
  • Develop and implement program-specific processes, procedures, databases and repositories, and communications plans
  • Continuous interaction and coordination with the Program Office, Planning, Materials Management, Operations, Contracts and Estimating, Engineering, Design-Build, Supplier Quality, Finance, Purchasing, Legal, and Facilities to support enterprise objectives
  • Support supply base-related engagements with external organizations including Congressional visits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in either Supply Chain Management, Program Office, Purchasing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and/or Strategic Sourcing
  • Proven experience in project management, including metrics development, progress reporting, and driving accountability
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Candidate must have proven ability to work in a team environment with a demonstrated ability to foster a culture of teamwork and communications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
