Project Representative (Laguna Niguel, CA)

About the role

The Mid-Level Representative position at the Jesus Film Project, a ministry of Cru, is dedicated to building and deepening relationships with Ministry Partners through various forms of communication and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Contact Ministry Partners regularly by phone, mail, and email to inform and thank them for their support.
• Communicate the funding needs of the Jesus Film Project using proposals, DVDs, phone calls, and other methods.
• Challenge Ministry Partners to increase their financial involvement with the organization.
• Send relevant donor reporting materials to Ministry Partners.
• Provide resources that enhance Ministry Partners' understanding of biblical stewardship and the JFP vision and activities.
• Pray with and for Ministry Partners on a regular basis.
• Monitor and answer 800 number phone calls from Ministry Partners.
• Create partnerships with Ministry Partners to work on special projects such as DVD distribution, vision trips, etc.
• Listen actively to understand the needs, desires, and expectations of Ministry Partners.
• Manage the database for all assigned contact activity.
• Develop proficiency in using JFP computer software systems like CRM (Siebel) and DevWeb.

Requirements

• A 2-year associate degree, or equivalent college-level work.
• 1-3 years of experience in fundraising and development, preferably for a Christian ministry.
• Experience in customer service and working one-on-one with people.
• Demonstrated excellence in fundraising can substitute for college training.
