Project/Program Manager I
About the role
We are seeking an experienced project/program manager for the Academic Research Initiatives (ARI) team to help drive research programs. This role will work across multiple internal teams, including leadership, science, product, marketing, and legal, as well as interact directly with external researchers to enable cutting-edge research. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills and experience with business analytics or data organization, management, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support scaling external research calls-for-proposals/grant making programs by coordinating with award recipients and internal points-of-contact to collect and disseminate project information.
- Coordinate workflows, including payments and legal contacts.
- Drive the organization of data and research proposals to support the launch of two new ARI initiatives: a science repository and a new CRM with custom proposal management.
- Support the new CRM build.
- Leverage data analytics skills to organize data, support metrics reporting, and influence the build of team dashboards.
- Coordinate the collection of research insights and outcomes.
- Continuously improve research program processes to make them more solid and efficient.
- Contribute to academic outreach efforts across ARI programs, both internally and externally.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 2-4 years of experience in business, business analytics, engineering, or program/product management. The ideal candidate will have experience with business analytics or data organization, management, and reporting.
