Project Planner

About the role

You will plan, coordinate, and optimize installation and commissioning schedules for CNC machinery projects across North America. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment of resources, timelines, and key milestones. Working closely with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Field Service teams, and global headquarters, you will ensure schedules accurately reflect the full scope of project activities while coordinating approximately 20–25 field service personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for multiple concurrent projects
• Ensure alignment of resources, timelines, and key milestones
• Work closely with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Field Service teams, and global headquarters
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or conflicts, and recommend solutions to maintain timelines
• Analyze current and forecasted workloads to determine capacity, adjust schedules based on real-time changes, and support internal teams by identifying available scheduling slots
• Coordinate with assembly and manufacturing teams to ensure project readiness
• Organize travel logistics for field teams
• Manage the scheduling and shipment of specialty tools required for installations
• Auxiliary in tracking shipments, utilizing systems such as RobEx, Salesforce, and Power BI for scheduling and reporting
• Communicate updates clearly across internal and international stakeholders
• Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and on time

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills across cross-functional and global teams
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform under time pressure
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years scheduling experience
• Experience in scheduling, planning, or coordination roles
• Experience within CNC machinery, industrial equipment, or technical service environments
• Familiarity with resource planning and scheduling tools
• Experience working in an international or global team environment
