Project Officer (HIS)
Band 5 (£34,544 - £43,039), full time (36 hours per week) or part time hours considered. Permanent roles based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working for the foreseeable future.
About the role
Healthcare Improvement Scotland has a range of exciting opportunities for talented Project Officers to join our organisation. As the national improvement agency for health and care in Scotland, we support improvement in front line care as well as leading on larger scale changes across Scotland.
These roles provide an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of various national workstreams that impact health and care delivery. Postholders will be assigned to a specific role for 6 months to 2 years, then transition to a new assignment within another Directorate or priority area, supporting a variety of national programmes and workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Project and operational planning
- Project support and management
- Producing progress and risk management reporting
- Stakeholder engagement and event management
- Research activities, information gathering, and report writing
Requirements
- Adaptability to change and flexibility to work across different projects
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with strong communication, interpersonal, and engagement skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, planning software, and online tools such as MS Teams
