Temporary full-time position located in Cedar Rapids, IA. Estimated duration: 6 months. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
About the Role
Project Manufacturing Engineer supporting engineering projects for Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) and similar electrical products.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects for the Miniature Circuit Breakers portfolio.
- Manage product changes including new material selection, production line transfers, and supplier transitions for sheet metal, molded plastics, stamped components, and packaging.
- Develop and execute mechanical and electrical performance test plans for verification and validation per design guidelines, codes, and industry standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience supporting engineering projects for Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) or similar electrical products.
- Hands-on experience with sheet metal, molded plastics, stamped components, and packaging materials (3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of product change management, including material changes, supplier transitions, and production line transfers.
- Ability to conduct and interpret mechanical and electrical verification/validation testing.

Pay
Hourly rate: $65.00–$67.00.
