Digital Web Operations is a cross-functional team that sits at the center of Warner Music Group within the Warner Music Experience (WMX) division. We build fan-focused and data-driven websites and campaigns that deliver our artists’ content to millions of fans around the world. We’re the backbone of the marketing teams—providing program and project management, production services, and full-stack enterprise solutions while maintaining operational efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, document, and manage complex and high-profile projects and creative campaigns across various channels.
  • Work with a team of designers and developers to build web campaigns that reach millions of music fans worldwide.
  • Brainstorm with stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal success and efficiency.
  • Architect and deliver integrated digital campaigns in collaboration with artists, management, music labels, marketing, and eCommerce teams.
  • Understand scope and requirements; review assets, timelines, guidelines, activities, and documentation with the project team.
  • Review priorities and plans for labels, artist, and brand managers to schedule work.
  • Partner with stakeholders to update priorities and load balance based on real-time input and updated goals.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Monitor timelines and progress of projects to ensure efficient, on-time delivery while addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Communicate project status regularly and effectively to cross-functional team members.
  • Work with developers and engineers to assess, document, and resolve technical challenges affecting websites and web platforms.
  • Gather development and design requirements and manage scope creep through change control, phased delivery, or other methods.
  • Delegate and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to the development team.
  • Ensure the user experience in each project fulfills the client request.
  • Ensure projects and campaigns comply with all company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Understanding of various project management methods: Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Gantt Charts).
  • Understanding of creative and software development processes.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to initiate and drive improvements.
  • Proven ability to motivate, support, and collaborate with various teams.
  • Experience working with designers, web developers, and digital marketers.
  • Ability to excel within fast-paced, high-output environments.
  • Ability to execute and manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Keen sense of urgency and strong follow-up skills.
  • Experience using a content management system (CMS), such as Drupal or WordPress.
  • General understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Experience administering JIRA, Asana, Monday, Airtable, or a similar project management platform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of related experience in a digital, media, or software development organization.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience running scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Experience writing comprehensive project plans, production schedules, budget estimates, and similar project artifacts.

Schedule

This position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships.

Pay

Salary Range: $72,400 to $80,000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
