What will I be doing?
- Manage and design water and wastewater improvement plans, master plans, and technical reports that meet engineering and regulatory standards.
- Oversee and review designs and reports prepared by junior engineers, EITs, and CAD staff, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Manage project tasks, sub-consultants, and schedules, maintaining communication with clients and leadership throughout project delivery.
- Track project budgets, generate accurate billing, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations within established scope, schedule and budget.
- Lead and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance, training, and professional development support.
- Identify training needs, participate in continuing education, and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
- Support business development through client engagement, proposal development, participation in industry events, and cross-marketing opportunities.
- Demonstrate self-management and professionalism by maintaining open communication, timely responses to clients & team members, resolving project challenges proactively, and promoting company mission and values.
What qualifications are required for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
- Registered Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of five (5) years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a project manager in engineering.
- Experience in proposal development and client communications preferred.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Advanced technical knowledge in water and wastewater systems design.
- Proven project management and client coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with modeling software preferred.
Pay
The wage range for this position is $109,000 - $145,000 annually.
