Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)

In this role, you will play a key part in helping our clients innovate and grow by designing, engineering, and executing the construction of their projects, particularly in supporting Jackson, MS, as it recovers and restores its water treatment and distribution system. You will also contribute to our growth throughout central Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Play a leadership role in project delivery, including project development, contract execution, oversight of consultants and contractors, client and stakeholder communication, and mentoring project engineers/technicians.
• Support the client service and sales team in winning new work by developing solutions and leveraging existing and new client relationships.
• Lead and manage teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership with integrity, candor, and alignment with Jacobs' Culture of Caring work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Progressive experience in water, operations and maintenance consulting, regulatory programs, or related services.
• Understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, with a proven history of meeting client expectations.
• Excellent oral and written communication, self-motivation, collaborative work practices, strong data analysis, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Project management, staff management, and business development experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with technical leads to translate regulatory requirements into processes and implement them.
• Ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders to build trust and implement program/project objectives.
• Mississippi Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain one.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $103,000.00 to $135,000.00. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
