Project Manager - Water Treatment/Pumping

We’re seeking a Water Treatment/Pumping Project Manager to join our mid-Atlantic and East Central region. Someone who can use their vast experience in the water industry and apply it to today’s challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment and pumping facilities
• Help lead clients to the correct treatment approach by utilizing modeling tools, bench scale analysis, pilot plant design and operation, and full-scale design, construction and commissioning of water treatment plants and pump stations
• Support business development efforts and work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering
• Extensive years of experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering, including water, wastewater, and reuse systems
• Planning and design experience in water distribution system, including pipelines, pumps stations and storage tanks
• Planning and design experience in wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump station, and treatment plants
• Knowledgeable about water systems
• Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
• Minimum of 15 years experience in the consulting engineering industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure is required

Qualifications

• Relocation assistance will be considered but not guaranteed
• Master’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering is preferred

Skills

• Experience with conventional and advanced treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, chlorine), adsorption technologies, and other treatment processes

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
