Project Manager - Water Treatment/Pumping

Your impact As global supply and demand for water intensifies, solving the world’s most complex water challenges demands different thinking – and that’s where we come in. We’re seeking a Water Treatment/Pumping Project Manager to join our mid-Atlantic and East Central region.

Responsibilities

• Use your vast experience in the water industry to tackle today’s challenges.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment and pumping facilities.
• Help lead clients to the correct treatment approach using modeling tools, bench scale analysis, pilot plant design and operation, and full-scale design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment plants and pump stations.
• Support business development efforts and work directly with clients on the projects and tasks you are leading, developing long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
• Extensive years of experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering, including water, wastewater, and reuse systems.
• Planning and design experience in water distribution systems, including pipelines, pumps stations, and storage tanks.
• Planning and design experience in wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plants.
• Knowledgeable about water systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities.
• Minimum of 15 years experience in the consulting engineering industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering preferred.

Skills

• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams for large projects (design fees greater than $4M).
• Experience with conventional and advanced treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, chlorine), adsorption technologies, and other treatment processes.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $185,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
