Project Manager, Vehicle Barriers
Position Summary
The Project Manager, Barrier Segment will oversee all project management aspects for the high security barrier segment. This role will coordinate and facilitate project follow-up within the sales team, including barrier market developers, market developers, sales project managers, barrier sales specialists, and others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cook up day-to-day project management tasks for multiple and/or large-scale projects.
- Utilize company resources to track projects throughout their entire lifecycle, including the warranty period.
- Collaborate with tech support and engineering teams for warranty issues, troubleshooting, and design requirements.
- Assist in evaluating and designing project offerings, possessing a deep understanding of the company's service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
- Act as a pivotal member in team and client meetings, adept at addressing issues promptly and clearly communicating relevant project details.
- Encourage and mentor team members to enhance their leadership skills, clarify roles and responsibilities, and strive for excellence in all business areas.
- Engage in New Product Development (NPD) and Customer Performance Improvement (CPI) projects as necessary with the engineering team.
- Contribute to ad hoc process improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications/Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.
- Other: Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts; thorough understanding of research methodology, data analysis, and estimation metrics; excellent communication and negotiation skills; MS Office proficiency; great attention to detail; organized and reliable.
