About the role
Lead a team of engineers in designing sustainable infrastructure solutions for urban environments. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable design strategies that enhance environmental performance and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability into project planning and execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project plans, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to secure project approvals and support.
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and sustainability guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in sustainable engineering.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with green building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, or others.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and technologies.
- Experience with sustainable infrastructure projects in urban settings.
