Project Manager, Trade Compliance

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cook up new client intake, onboarding, and project assignments.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and project documentation.
  • Manage client meeting workflows by preparing agendas, coordinating required materials, documenting decisions, and ensuring timely follow-through on action items.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates, and project tracking tools.
  • Maintain accurate project records and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Partner with trade consultants to manage project execution, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Cook up logistics for client training sessions and educational events.
  • Identify process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and the overall client experience.

Qualifications

  • Obtain a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in project coordination, consulting operations, trade compliance, or a related field.
  • Have experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international logistics providers preferred.
  • Show knowledge of trade compliance, import/export operations, or customs regulations.
  • Show strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Show experience coordinating multiple projects and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Show ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize competing demands, and proactively identify solutions.
  • Show proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and geographic location. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, which covers medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
