Project Manager- System Implementation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager in the Salt Lake City, UT area with an option of hybrid work, to support internal PM/CM teams and external clients. As a key contributor to the program support team, you will partner closely with engineering, design, and construction professionals to gain a comprehensive understanding of project delivery—from planning and design through procurement, construction, and project controls.

In this role, you will support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized project management and project controls processes, configure those processes within integrated project management systems, and develop training materials that promote consistent, high-quality project execution. You will actively apply project controls best practices to enable effective cost and schedule management across large, multi-project programs and help align processes, systems, and resources to support best-in-class project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement standardized project management and project controls processes.
• Configure processes within integrated project management systems.
• Develop training materials to promote consistent, high-quality project execution.
• Apply project controls best practices for cost and schedule management across large, multi-project programs.
• Align processes, systems, and resources to support best-in-class project delivery.
• Develop program- and project-level reporting, including executive status reporting.
• Apply formal change management processes.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to deliver strategic, actionable insights.
• Manage costs across large, multi-project programs.
• Travel to project sites and client offices as needed.
• Develop and deliver effective presentations (visual, written, and verbal).
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and analyzing Primavera P6 schedules.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with executive leadership and clients.
• Experience implementing and working with project management and information management systems.
• Proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data to deliver strategic, actionable insights.
• Experience managing costs across large, multi-project programs.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance improvement and continuous optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Power BI reports.
• Experience with Project Management systems, e.g., Unifier, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new project management systems.
• Ability to work well within a team that may consist of client team members.
• Proven ability to adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $92,100.00 to $161,200.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
