Responsibilities

  • Embed in Engineering NPI teams to understand project scope, supply base, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Engineering NPI Program Manager to develop project schedules.
  • Act as liaison between Engineering and Supply Management team to drive supplier activities.
  • Create product-specific cost models with input from Supply Management team.
  • Support transition and production-level ramp-up for large-scale transfer projects.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Engineering NPI Program Manager and Planning.
  • Enter Engineering BOMs into the MRP system.
  • Create and manage tracking reports for various assemblies.
  • Create and run regular project meetings covering status of parts.
  • Create mitigation plans for delivery impacts from suppliers.
  • Engage with operations teams and suppliers to ensure material and capacity readiness.
  • Ensure proper plans are in place for logistics, build events, and shipment.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Program Management, Engineering, Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management and program management.
  • Excellent project and program management experience.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with engineering teams is preferred; the ideal candidate will have some interaction with technical products and a range of materials.
  • Ability to work in a schedule-driven environment where timing and a strong sense of urgency are critical.
  • Outstanding communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing shifting priorities and changing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience with MRP systems is desirable.
  • Experience working with suppliers is preferred but not required.

Pay Range

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $65,000-$165,000. Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
