About the role
The Project Manager at Posillico is responsible for providing overall leadership for projects, ensuring safety, managing finances, coordinating production, and maintaining quality control.
Responsibilities
- Safety: Ensure job safety, comply with OSHA standards, conduct safety reporting, and participate in safety stand-downs.
- Financial and Compliance: Perform daily and weekly quantity reviews, prepare cost detail reports, track extra work, and manage change orders.
- Planning and Production: Develop and approve project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure production goals are communicated to the team.
- Quality Control: Fulfill project deliverables, coordinate with engineers, and maintain project records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering, or a 4-year degree in Construction or Environmental Management with 7+ years of related experience.
- At least 2 years as a Project Manager on projects valued at $10M or more.
- Experience in heavy construction, including civil infrastructure, site-work, roads, bridges, environmental, support of excavation, cast-in-place and pile foundations, underground utility systems, or sewer wastewater treatment plants.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction management software like Procore and financial management software like Viewpoint.
- Ability to interpret plans and specs and develop construction schedules.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary credentials for restricted or government sites.
