Responsibilities
Leads and executes mid-sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Collaborates with diverse teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with appropriate course completion to support a project management team.
- 7+ years project management or project leadership experience.
- Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Project Management Professional Certification (preferred)
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

- Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects.
- Solves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
- Manages, coordinates and controls Project Work Plan execution to achieve project technical, cost and schedule objectives.
- Efficiently and effectively works towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints.
- Leads the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives.
- Maintains effective customer communications, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are addressed effectively.
- Addresses and resolves project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost customer interface and other project related activities.
- Communicates project progress, issues, and/or resolution options to project team members’ customers and EMD management.
- Reviews and controls project cost, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates.
- Develops and monitors the Project Risk Management Plan as part of project planning and execution.
- Interacts with Sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure the materials needed for the project and future production.
