Project Manager, Sr.

Responsibilities

Leads and executes mid-sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Collaborates with diverse teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with appropriate course completion to support a project management team.
  
• 7+ years project management or project leadership experience.
  
• Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures.
  
• Project Management Professional Certification (preferred)
  

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
  
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

• Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects.
  
• Solves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
  
• Manages, coordinates and controls Project Work Plan execution to achieve project technical, cost and schedule objectives.
  
• Efficiently and effectively works towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints.
  
• Leads the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives.
  
• Maintains effective customer communications, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are addressed effectively.
  
• Addresses and resolves project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost customer interface and other project related activities.
  
• Communicates project progress, issues, and/or resolution options to project team members’ customers and EMD management.
  
• Reviews and controls project cost, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates.
  
• Develops and monitors the Project Risk Management Plan as part of project planning and execution.
  
• Interacts with Sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure the materials needed for the project and future production.
