About the role

Fehr Graham is a Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Project Manager specializing in site development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site development projects from concept to completion
  • Manage and design projects for residential, commercial, municipal and industrial clients
  • Provide leadership to project teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee all phases of site development and civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction assistance
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver high-quality project outcomes
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports related to grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and site layout
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring adherence to client expectations and technical standards
  • Cook up and deliver proposals, contracts, and presentations
  • Celebrate milestones and enjoy friendly team-building activities and office outings after work
  • Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, attending client meetings, and identifying new project opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or Illinois, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in civil/site development engineering, including project management responsibilities
  • Proven track record managing land development, commercial, industrial, or municipal projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, roadway design, and utility systems
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and client relationships simultaneously

$105,000 - $145,000 / year
