About the role
Fehr Graham is a Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Project Manager specializing in site development.
Responsibilities
- Lead site development projects from concept to completion
- Manage and design projects for residential, commercial, municipal and industrial clients
- Provide leadership to project teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Manage and oversee all phases of site development and civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction assistance
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports related to grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and site layout
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring adherence to client expectations and technical standards
- Cook up and deliver proposals, contracts, and presentations
- Celebrate milestones and enjoy friendly team-building activities and office outings after work
- Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, attending client meetings, and identifying new project opportunities
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or Illinois, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 5+ years of progressive experience in civil/site development engineering, including project management responsibilities
- Proven track record managing land development, commercial, industrial, or municipal projects
- Strong technical knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, roadway design, and utility systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and client relationships simultaneously
