Position Summary

The Project Manager leads the Project Management staff for his/her assigned construction project(s). This position is responsible for overseeing all project administrative functions which include contract administration, procurement, document management, financial and risk management, scheduling and quality control as necessary to support field operations from start-up to completion/closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of project management from startup through closeout
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting
  • Oversee contract administration, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with contract requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and trade partners
  • Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and reporting
  • Partner with field leadership to support safe, high-quality project execution
  • Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, field supervision, or preconstruction within a commercial construction environment
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and estimating across multiple trades
  • Proven ability to manage project financials, including forecasting and cost control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and construction management software
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors.
  • Sometimes work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.
